Found a temp job again working from 30th Jul till 11th Aug '09. Again it is a warehouse job but mai hiam buay pai la since now almost everyday wasting my youth awy playing dota and still dota...Luckily the location is quite near which is jus opposite ITE East (company named TNT). The 1st thing tat come to my mind abt the company is making n selling of explosives lol! I'm such a noob man!

Went for interview today n i realized i'm jus a simpleton who dun know abt the outside world afterall. Everytime i take bus to tanah merah for street soccer i will always pass by tat TNT building, but all these while i had been a noob who does not know that actually TNT is a global delivery company tat transfers goods and documents ard the world!

Haizzzzzzzz...tis really have proven tat i have nothing in life but dota. I'm still a mountain turtle siaa...

Yes! Finally able to meet up with my prof to talk abt my FYP. It's been 2 weeks since my ICT and thinking back, i felt i had done nothing except slacking at home! Tmr shall be the 1st time linking up with him to finalise on the FYP tat i m suppose to do for my final year in NTU. Hope everything will be smooth!

Very upset wif the meagre amt of allowance i m paid for serving the nation. Work for 5days but only paid $135 in total. In actual fact i have only earned $111 since i had to take cab to travel frm Punggol to Boonlay & vice versa. I dun think it will be even enough to cover the expenses incurred if i had to go for x-ray to check on my kneecap. However, i think there is a need to delay the check-up due to the H1N1 virus spreading ard in hospitals currently. Not going to risk getting this vicious H1N1 flu virus!

Fantastic shopping spree today wif armour ahbeng. Bought a pair of jeans & a shirt plus 3 pairs of socks. Total damage is approx. $115. Still need to top up $4 frm my nsmen pay siaaaa...BUT it's still worth it in order not to stay at the pinnacle of the mountain.

Wah...end of part-time job really spells the start of my slacking life yet again. Fortunately i spent the time watching terminator I, II, and III after reading whitelim's blog. Really nv wasted my 2days of youth watching the movies siaa. Although the terminator I graphics looks very fake considering it had been since long long time ago, it's still worth watching. Thanks to whitelim's fantastic detailed narration of the terminator movie series in his blog recently. Now i'm jus behind the terminator fans by the latest terminator salvation! HA...

Next up. Matrix movie series!

Now tat my zodiac sign has changed frm Virgo to Leo, i'm supposed to change my character too!

As stated in astrology, Virgo is considered a "feminine", negative (introvert) sign while Leo is considered to be a "masculine", positive (extrovert) sign.

Omg! This means i have to change frm one extreme to the other extreme, jus like travelling frm punggol to boonlay (now pioneer) jus to study in NTU. Tortuous process but still have to be done. Wat to dooooooo...zodiac change, so mus i in order to follow fashion rite?

I always tot tat Virgo absolutely suits my personality. Since fashion has decided to change my zodiac, this mus be a sign to.....convert frm "ah gua" to man! Ha. Even zodiac can change, so can i. WAH after reading Tay's blog i really feel like changing my phone asap sia. Reasons being:

1. My current Sony Ericsson k770i's asterix key has already become super sensitive to the extend that one jus need to brush past the button & the asterix will appear on the screen -_-
So...it's not me trying to act cute by clicking CAPS & small letters everytime i send msg hor. Definitely not so free to do this kind of funny stuffs.

2. Battery life seems abit strange recently. Mayb bcos a few times my hp's batt dropped dead. Last time 2-3days charge 1 time the hp still active like a tiger. Now everyday need to charge 1 time jialat jialat to prepare for the next day.

3. Need to follow fashion. If not will always be stuck at the pinnacle of the mountain.

Reallyyyyy wanna change but still need to wait till 25th oct 2009 b4 i can upgrade my plan sia...haizzzz.

Going to serve the nation again frm 22nd to 26th june this yr. It's been 3 long yrs since the nation required my service. Sian man...but wat to doooooooo? Guess i dun have that garang mentality instill in Tay. He can chit chat with Xiaobing nonstop abt army life & what's the latest IN thing that is happening in army. Really BOW to Tay man! Willing to put in the effort to follow fashion EVEN for army.

As advertised frequently on TVmobile, "Steel Within" vs "Steal within". Everyone talks abt how army changed them. So how did army change me?
1. Sprained my ankle
2. Dislocated my shoulder
3. Disfigured my face
4. Made me skinnier
5. Wasted my youth
....

Many more things to be listed which will be a neverending story. I cannot even think of much positives in serving the natin other than meeting frens who chiong sua-ed together with me. Now i can jus look 4wards to ending my 7 Hi and 3 Lo keys asap.

It's my responsibility to serve the nation, but can the nation serve me better too?

Wats ladder? Some of u might not know since u have being awy frm dota since last yr.

In short, ladder is a "so-called" performance indicator created by garena in order to segregate the noobs frm the pros. Ha so how is tat so? Pros will keep winning since they wun wan to team with pros and those with losing streak will continue to lose. Yipposuction is undergoing this phase in dota now.

Anyway, I dunno wat is ladder theorem which yip is talking abt. Only got sure win tips in dota which is to use all AOE stunners in a team. However, the game must be ended swiftly so tat the opponent do not haf sufficient time to get BKB (SOP item nowadays whenever u r challenging earthshaker). Typical example would be slardar, sandking, NA, earthshaker, vengeful spirit.

However, the team does not always require a full stunner team in order to win. One example would be a team consisting of death prophet, earthshaker, omniknight, slardar, lich. Depending on how well the intel farm or kill heroes, the game can be ended with a win. The game is determined by the AOE intel heroes which are able to push the towers asap.

Another fast in fast out game which my cousin showed me is to choose all intel team. Takes less than 15mins to kill off the game. The team would consist of death prophet, omniknight, tinker, shadow priest, and last but not least keeper of the light. However, this team really need great coordination whereby 4 heroes chiong mid lane while death prophet solo at bot or top n lvl up till 6 b4 joining the team in the mid lane. This really trains up team coordination which is vital in dota.

Wat a shag run i had jus now. Nearly gif up after 1 rd around the pathway (estimated 1.2km). I'm totally disappointed wif myself man. Lost 4kg within the past 1yr, dating back to my industrial attachment days...how is it possible to lose so much weight sia -_-"".

Now i shall consume protein powder everyday until my body becomes bulky but powdery. By hook or by crook haf to gain back tat 4kg tat i have lost! Still got 1week of ICT frm 22nd till 26th June which i predict i might lose yet another 1kg minimum. Sian man...meanwhile better bulk up my mass 1st.

U shall be my saviour for NOW!

Finally ended my yr3 leaving 1 yr b4 graduation. Now I shall have to find a prof for my FYP next yr. I have sent an email b4 exams but until now tat prof still haven bother to reply me. Therefore, yest str after exams i emailed another prof as a backup plan jus in case the previous prof bochup me. However, this backup prof is currently overseas and will only return to sg after end of may. Mayb i will have to come out with a backup² plan too.

2 papers down, 2 more to go...Really eager to end this exams ASAP. Even b4 exams some of my course mates have already found a prof to confirm their FYP [Note: August 2009 is the deadline to submission of FYP selection]. Think str after exams i will have to beg or steal a supervising prof already, even though it seems to be a little too late considering some kiasu kiasi ppl have already found their beloved prof for their FYP. Ok set! Meanwhile PIA my exams 1st...FYP selection next!

Finally ended my sch & start to prepare for my exams which is next weds. Ended wif a CA quiz which was a total disaster. Initially thought it will be an easy quiz using the new "clicker" system provided it was an open book quiz. Nv expected the timing for each calculation qn to be so fast. Given only 3mins to do the calculation qn was too short sia. Reading the qn already need 30 secs plus 30secs GAN CHEONG on finding wat formula to use for tat qn. This means 1min already gone! Left 2 mins to think abt the qn which is highly likely to be possible since there is a need to use calculator to PAPPP PAPP PAPP (another 1min wasted). Sian man...think haf to BUCK UP on my final exams already! No time to Waste!

Recently got myself addicted to this drama series. The plot is simply too fantastic to be missed out by me even though exams period is nearing.

Dunno whether it's the effects of april's fool today. My thumbdrive seemed to be playing a fool out of me. Started sch fairly well in the morning & thought tat i was fully prepared for my presentation today. The previous nite i had made some last min changes to my presentation slides and animation and even counter-checked tat i had saved the edited files in my 512mb thumbdrive which had accompanied me for 2yrs plus.

Things started to tumble str after my lunch when i returned to the lab. I slotted my thumbdrive into the usb to discover tat my edited files had gone missing. Mayb due to the virus tat got onto my thumbdrive the day before in sch. I tot scanning and cleaning the thumbdrive is sufficient enough but it turned out wrong. Luckily enough my fren volunteered to send me home to collect my backup copy in my laptop. Really owe him big time sia.

When i reached home, i found out tat my thumbdrive actually had the edited files saved in it but they r in hidden mode (mayb due to the dirty virus tat infected it). Really trying to play a fool sia...

Really finds it tough to find a topic to blog abt considering i have nothing in life but dota. It's really true ever since dota nv update the heroes...and with no updates in the heroes, there is no updates in my blog. Think i m really doom & gloom to be stuck in this vicious cycle.

Recently, even the frequency of playing dota has decreased due to more concentration placed on my studies. And judging frm this vicious cycle, this is y there is no more updates. So how tough can it be to blog for someone who has NOTHING IN LIFE BUT DOTA? >>the ans is DEFINITELY tough.

Anyway...i recently discovered a theorem that was found to be true in my life - introducing "Reap wat u Sow theorem"

If u do not like anybody to scold u, then u better not do the same thing to anybody. Yest was a fantastic example when i was F*** for ks-ing someone in dota (once again dota -->basically my life revolves ard dota it seems). Thinking back, when ppl ks me in dota i will always scold them...so by "reap wat u sow theorem" it finally happened to me. Even though i nv really intended to ks him, he F*** me upside down within split seconds without giving me a chance to explain which made me very dulan & not willing to apologise to him at all. >.<
Think the best thing to do is to remain silence throughout the whole game. As the elders always say, "silence is GOLD"

Another example is how depressing it is to me when ppl reply late. Looking back, i had also did the exact same thing to tat motorola fren of mine (yip's so called ite girl). I had tried to purposely reply her smses late and even nv reply her at all. Sooo...by the reap wat u sow theorem, i finally had a taste of the feeling tat i rightfully deserved.

AAR: Always keep in mind the "Reap wat u Sow" theorem.
--> keep silent in all dota games frm now onwards.
--> reply all msges asap wifout any delay.

Hope to become a better person after applying this theorem.

Wishing EVERYONE a happy 牛 YEAR!

Hello everyone! In this new yr, i have to specially thank yesterday's bugis street Ka Kias (Whitelim, Armour Ahbeng, and Yip). Most imptly have to thank Zhao SuZhen and her Fren for taking up their precious time to help my sis find her new yr clothes (Armour ahbeng managed to render their assistance in the midst of the crowd). Sorry though for not being able to showcase the clothes as they r currently under cleaning process...Another person i have to specially thank is whitelim for helping out and giving fantastic ideas if not i will be at a loss. Really feel damn useless in choosing clothes for girls as i have not reached the bottom of the mountain. So here's my 牛 YEAR wish:

1. Maintain my NTU grade
2. Learn as much fashion as possible (not going to be mountain turtle anymore)
3. Do my best in everything i do!

Sorry for the late posting. It's been a week since my last post but today i shall compensate wif everything i've got in my mind regarding the last few dota matches i had.

Electric Vortex

Ball Lightning
Storm Spirit becomes enveloped with energy, losing his physical form, and travels until he depletes his mana or reaches his target. While in this form, he deals damage to nearby units based on how far his electrical form has traversed. Damage, speed and area of effect improves per level.

One jus need to use static remnant to farm like a king...when an enemy comes near u, one jus need to use electric vortex to bring the enemy to the point of no return by attracting the enemy to him. WAH! wat's more...remember the static remnant? Jus place it on the ground b4 u attract him to u! YATTAA... minus so much damage sia. (Note: Best if near tower)

Not 4getting the ultimate ball lightning which can let u prison break frm enemy! No longer will it pull the enemy along wif it but will instead damage the enemy. Meaning there is possibility to kill him while escaping! Haaa...

Let's have a brief AAR of yesterday's 2 LATE NITE DOTA matches which ended in humiliating defeat.

1st Match
1. Opponent's tankers (slardar & centaur) far more tanking than my axe.
2. Sniper not tactical at all. Imagine sniper walking right towards the tanker to shoot them.
3. Surprised by venomancer's new skill (will be giving an overview of the skill later).

2nd Match
1. Actually from start surely lose. We've got 2 intel (Warlock & Furion) while the opponents have all late gamers. Totally impossible to win in my opinion.
2. It's Venomancer again. Using his apa lothar and stealth in use his new skill slow everyone!

After analysing these 2 matches, Venomancer appeared to be the cause of our defeat. So let's take a look at it's profile...

Venomous Gale
Releases a Venomous Gale which poisons enemy units it comes in contact with. Poisoned units take initial damage, damage over time, and have their movement speed slowed for a short duration.

Level 1 - 50 strike damage, 10 duration damage.

Level 2 - 70 strike damage, 20 duration damage.

Level 3 - 70 strike damage, 40 duration damage.

Level 4 - 100 strike damage, 50 duration damage.

Cooldown: 22 Manacost: 90/105/120/135
Level 1: 90 mana, 22 sec cooldown.

Level 2: 105 mana, 22 sec cooldown.

Level 3: 120 mana, 22 sec cooldown.

Level 4: 135 mana, 22 sec cooldown.

Using lothar to ww near the opponent then use Venomous Gale to slow him! PAAAAP...plus ur ulti combination confirm plus chop kill intel or agi heroes. Str heroes to be confirmed again when i use against them.
